 
Cindy Schebler’s career in personnel began in 1983
as a counselor/manager for another local employment agency.
In 1989 Cindy seized an opportunity to open and manage Personnel
Plus, her own full service employment agency.
Personnel Plus provides Executive
Search, Permanent Placement,
Temporary Placement Service
and Employee Leasing.
An additional feature for employers is called Temporary
to Permanent Placement which allows a company to try an
employee before making a permanent commitment.
As President and CEO of Personnel Plus, Cindy’s dreams
and goals were and still are to manage a very PERSONAL SERVICE
oriented business. Her passion in life has always been to
help people, which is signified by her use of the color purple
in her business logo. She prides herself in her intense work
ethics and positive business attitude. Everyone she meets
is greeted by a welcoming smile and firm handshake. Her
prominent work with the Chamber of Commerce and personal mentoring,
has earned her the coveted Athena Award for promoting women
in business and developing the community.
The team's clients are often surprised when management gets personally involved
by showing up at their business to check on an employee placement,
sit in on an interview at the agency, or talk directly to
an employer about a particular business need. As a hands-on
management team, this is their style. Visualizing another niche needing
to be filled, in April of 2002, Personnel Plus opened another “full
service” Personnel Plus office in Fairbanks, AK.
Personnel Plus maintains a workforce of over
500 Permanent and temporary employees which expands to well
over 750 personnel during the peak season. In addition Personnel Plus
makes numerous personal appearances throughout the state each
year educating the community on hiring trends, standards,
salary negotiations and general Human Resource issues.
